Roasted orange paste is a preparation that draws from the regional tradition. Restored to return to its essence, it is free of flavourings and preservatives, with a very low percentage of sugars (no more than 10%). It is created in the Daniel Canzian’s kitchen according to the classic Italian method of preparation and preservation, with Navel or Tarocco oranges and almond oil. Packaged in small jars, it can be used to enrich your home recipes.

Uses: Ideal for both savory and sweet dishes, it is an excellent accompaniment to fish, red meats and vegetables. By diluting it with more water, it will reach the consistency of a sauce, ideal for seasoning a carpaccio of beef, fish and tempura vegetables. With the addition of Filo Oil, it is perfect to combine with raw fish. How to taste it: The roasted orange paste, inside its container, is firm and almost untied. The consistency is due to the fact that it does not have any preservatives or thickeners in it. To use it, take a dose and dilute it with a little water to give it the desired consistency. If you want to spread it on Pane Sfogliato, a few drops of water and a simple lively mix with a spoon will be enough.
