Profumo di Vulcano was born in a small vineyard dating back to the late nineteenth century, about half a hectare of land on the northern slopes of Etna at 600 meters above sea level. The altitude and the north-facing position offer shelter from the strong sirocco winds, resulting in a daily summer temperature range of about 28°C: these particular conditions guarantee the grapes a longer ripening, which enriches their taste and complexity.
